![]() This game, I understand it's much simplier, but the game is flying compared to Gradius III. I played through Gradius III and thought, "my God this is half the speed of the slowest Genesis shoot em up, but what about compared to NES?" Plugged in the NES and tried Gradius. I almost can't play some of these games today and when compared to the older Sega Genesis they don't hold up as well due to the slow frame rate. Whenever there is a lot going on on screen the game play just starts grinding. ![]() Why did Nintendo put such a slow processor in the SNES? I was playng Super Ghouls and Ghosts and it's crippling slow compared to Ghouls and Ghosts on the Genesis. Playing through the SNES library all weekend and I have to ask a question probably has an obvious answer from you tech guys.
